Yes! The ORNAP Convention is open to all interested nurses, whether you are new to the field or have been practicing for years. Healthcare professionals working in the operating room or reprocessing areas are also warmly welcome to attend and participate.
- . I am an ORNAP member (regular, life, or associate). Do I need to register through the new portal?
Answer:
Yes. All members, regardless of category, must create an account on the new registration system prior to signing up for the convention. Although your membership information has been transferred, some details will need to be updated. Please have a recent photograph and a copy of your PRC ID ready for upload during the process.
- How do I register for the upcoming ORNAP Convention?
Answer:
Simply click on the appropriate registration tab—Member, New Member, or Non-Member. Fill in your personal details and upload the necessary documents. You can also select your preferred platform for participation, whether online or onsite (face-to-face).
- I am experiencing issues with the system and cannot save my details. What should I do?

- Is it possible to include the name of my hospital or company on the invoice?
Answer:
Yes. If you wish to have your hospital or company name reflected on the invoice, please fill out the required details, including the company name, Tax Identification Number, and complete address during registration.
- As a new member in the Operating Room who is interested in being part of ORNAP, which membership category should I select?
Answer:
ORNAP welcomes OR nurses who have served as perioperative nurses for at least one year and currently hold a valid Professional ID card. Prospective members for Regular Membership are required to complete the registration process via the online portal, submit an employment certification, and pay the prescribed membership fee.
- Are nurses who are not assigned to the Operating Room eligible to become members of ORNAP?
Answer:
Yes. Perioperative nurses who are not directly part of the Operating Room team, such as nurse educators, researchers, nurses employed abroad, and private-duty nurses, are eligible to join ORNAP as Associate Members. Application is through the registration portal for new members, select the Associate Member category, and submit the necessary documents (employment certificate, PRC ID card) along with the membership fee.
